Who we are
AIFitMe is a personal nutrition and fitness assistant app. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how you can delete it.
What data we collect
- Health profile — age, sex, height, weight, activity level, dietary preferences, health goals, medical conditions, and allergies that you voluntarily enter.
- Food scan images — photos you take or choose from your gallery when scanning a menu. These are stored in Firebase Storage.
- Scan history — the results of your menu scans, including dish names, calories, and health scores.
- Health assistant chat — messages you send to the AI health assistant and the responses.
- Anonymous device identifier — a random ID assigned to your device by Firebase Authentication. No name or email is ever collected.
How we use your data
Your health profile is sent to our AI service (Google Gemini) to generate personalised meal plans, daily advice, and nutrition analysis. We do not sell your data to third parties.
Where data is stored
Data is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore database and Cloud Storage), hosted in the United States. Data is transmitted over Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS) and stored securely. Your health profile on your device is encrypted using your device's secure storage.
How to delete your data
You can delete all your data at any time from inside the app:
- Open AIFitMe → Profile tab → scroll to bottom → tap "Delete all my data"
This permanently deletes your health profile, all scan history and images, and all chat messages. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
Third-party services
The app relies on the following categories of third-party service to function. Each provider processes data only to the extent necessary to deliver the feature it supports. If we change providers in the future, this section will be updated and the "Last updated" date above will reflect the change.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third party beyond what is listed above.
Children
AIFitMe is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
